What we did on our spring break - a photo essay

Last week was Zachary's spring break, and for us, it's not a time that we typically go anywhere.  It's not a great week for R to be off from work, plus, you know, money...

But we still managed to have a pretty good time, if I do say so myself.  Plus, I'm LOVING my new Nikon lensthat Santa brought me this past Christmas, so I took full advantage of the beautiful weather we had MOST of the week and took some pictures.  LOTS of pictures.

Lots.

We did the Easter egg hunt thing.

We spent the day with friends, swimming and playing and having a ball.

Zachary tested for his green belt.  

Zachary also pulled his other front tooth, which is AH-DOR-A-BLE.

We also spent quite a bit of time outside

eating popsicles, 

practicing our skating because the Easter bunny brings the coolest gifts

   and drawing an occasional rainbow.

So even though it was a pretty laid-back week by most people's standards, we enjoyed it.

Now it's only seven more weeks until summer break!  Wonder what we'll get into then?
